Eton Chagrin Blvd Adds Mahjong Maison, a New Boutique Experience for Learning and Play

WOODMERE, OH [February 2026] — Eton Chagrin Blvd is pleased to welcome Mahjong Maison, a new boutique destination celebrating the art of mahjong through lessons, community-driven play, special events and curated retail. Open inside Eton, Mahjong Maison offers a welcoming space for both brand-new players and seasoned enthusiasts to learn, play and gather. Already open, Mahjong Maison is located at 28601 Chagrin Boulevard, Suite #730, Woodmere, Ohio 44122, inside the Atrium Shops at Eton Chagrin Boulevard. The store’s grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place in early March.

Mahjong Maison is DORA-friendly, so guests are encouraged to grab a drink from a nearby Eton Chagrin Blvd restaurant (Fiamma, Taza, Agave & Rye, Heritage Steak & Whiskey and soon to open, Nightjar) and stroll over to enjoy a lesson, open play, or special event. “Eton Chagrin Blvd is proud to introduce Mahjong Maison—an experience that blends retail, lifestyle, and community,” said Stacie Schmidt, Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Stark Enterprises. “It’s a fresh concept that invites guests to gather, learn something new, and enjoy the social energy that makes Eton such a special place.”

Mahjong Maison is open daily from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, and evenings by appointment for lessons, guided play and open play tables. Open play will be booked by appointment for $10 per time slot – available during store hours. We will offer complete traditional American Mahjong sets as well as an automatic Mahjong table for your playing enjoyment. There will also be private league play scheduled for Monday nights and a beginner league on Tuesday nights. The Mahjong Maison will also host at least one community event each month, designed to bring players together and welcome newcomers. As well as playing and learning the game, Mahjong Maison will be offering some retail products like mahjong themed gifts and entertainment items. Down the road, they will be selling mahjong game supplies as well.

The excitement continues with the launch of the store’s Mahjong league, as the inaugural season of the North Coast Mahjong League officially began Monday, January 19. Additional opportunities to play are still available, including open spots in the Wednesday League, and the Tuesday beginner league.
