Located in the former Mabel’s space, the restaurant features a clean, rustic, and trendy ambiance designed for any occasion. Guests will enjoy a menu that showcases artisanal wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, fresh seafood, and vibrant salads, all crafted with a commitment to quality and freshness. Fiamma reflects Mendel Segal’s passion for blending Jewish and Italian culinary traditions, offering a unique dining experience that celebrates bold flavors. This dedication to excellence extends to the beverage program, which features a curated selection of tequilas, whiskies, bourbons, craft beers, and a diverse array of wines and liquors, perfectly complementing the dining experience.

Who: Mendel Segal, celebrated for his expertise in wood-fire cooking and his dynamic, passionate personality, brings his culinary vision to life with Fiamma by Mendel. Known for his successful ventures: Mendel’s Backyard BBQ in Surfside, FL and Mendel’s KC BBQ in Shaker Heights, OH. Mendel has solidified his reputation for delivering exceptional food and memorable dining experiences.

Joining him is Executive Chef Sean Champe, a fine-dining expert trained at Lorain County JVS and Le Cordon Bleu. With Michelin-recognized experience and a passion for innovative Kosher Italian cuisine, Sean redefines tradition with bold flavors, fresh seafood, handmade pastas, and house-made breads. Together, Mendel and Sean promise a vibrant and elevated dining experience at Fiamma, setting a new standard in Cleveland’s culinary scene.

When: Fiamma by Mendel will officially open its doors to the public on Thursday, December 12th with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 12:00pm. Following the grand opening, the restaurant will operate during the following hours:

Sunday – Thursday: 11:00am – 9:00pm
Friday: 11:00am – 2:00pm
Saturday: 7:00pm – Midnight
